From apser a platform was proposed with clear division between development and production environments. Also, each platform would be made up of separate servers (frontend+backend) for decouple the presentation and business layers.
In the development environment, EC2 instances of the T family were used, which are turned off outside of working hours, while in the production environment, M type instances with greater resources were deployed.
Additionally, the client's domains were migrated to Amazon Route53 to integrate it with Amazon Cloud Front, with the aim of improving application loading times, and with Amazon Web Application Firewall (WAF,) for web frontend protection.
Finally, the backup and compliance policies were reviewed given that it operates in an environment regulated by financial institutions, reaching the definition of a New backup and restoration policy for the platform in the event of contingencies.
