What challenge did the company face?

Habitium faced challenges in managing its product catalog: inconsistencies in data, descriptions and the need for a scalable solution.
Automation of content generation and AWS
The company sought to optimize the creation of catalogs through artificial intelligence, generating Product descriptions automatically and improving the consistency and quality of content on your website.

Solution implemented

Apser offered you an initial assessment that would allow us to analyze the current status of your AWS account and, subsequently, our Sherpa support service to be able to implement the potential improvements detected during the assessment.

To address Habitium's challenges in managing its catalog, apser developed a solution based on Generative AI with Amazon Bedrock, which included:

  • Content Generation API: Creation of a microservice capable of processing product data and automatically generating titles and descriptions.
  • Using Amazon Bedrock: Implementation of the model Claude 3 Haiku to optimize text generation with a focus on accuracy and adaptability.
  • Content Validation: System for evaluating and adjusting results through an iterative flow of testing and optimization.
  • Testing Interface: Development of an application in Stream lit so that Habitium teams could validate and adjust the generated descriptions.
  • Recording and Analysis of Results: Storing all interactions in DynamoDB, allowing the effectiveness of the model to be evaluated and continuous improvements to be made.

With this solution, apser allowed Habitium automate content generation, ensuring clear, consistent product descriptions tailored to your audience, all with a scalable system.

Results

Implementing the Amazon Bedrock-based solution has transformed Habitium’s efficiency by automating the creation of product descriptions and ensuring text consistency.

This advancement has simplified content generation, allowing the team to focus on more complex tasks. Generative AI has provided greater capacity to handle large volumes of products, ensuring consistency and quality in descriptions without compromising performance.

One of the key benefits of this solution has been scalability. The system’s ability to process up to 20,000 products per month, adapting to increasing volumes, has significantly improved operational efficiency.

In addition, the system has continuously optimized the process through real-time evaluation, allowing models to be adjusted and results to be improved.

Thanks to integration with AWS infrastructure such as Amazon Bedrock, DynamoDB, and Fargate, Apser has managed to offer a robust and efficient solution that has optimized content creation, reducing costs and improving the user experience on the Habitium platform.
