Vocali: Modernizing Cloud Infrastructure with AWS and Managed Services

As part of its digital transformation strategy, Vocali, a technology company specializing in advanced solutions, decided to take a key step toward modernizing its IT infrastructure by migrating to Amazon Web Services (AWS). Although the technical migration was executed by Vócali's own team, the company relied on Apser as a leading partner to support the entire process, ensuring compliance with best practices, cloud architecture governance, and the technical support necessary for successful and sustainable adoption.

This joint approach enabled the construction of a more flexible, secure, and scalable infrastructure, minimizing risks and providing the Vocali team with the tools and expertise necessary to operate efficiently in the cloud.

What challenge did the company face?

Vócali faced the limitations of a traditional infrastructure, with a lack of automation and visibility that impacted its operational efficiency, security, and control of cloud spending.
Automation of content generation and AWS
Vócali started with a traditional infrastructure that hampered its technological evolution. The lack of automation in key processes such as access management, backups, and monitoring limited its operational agility and increased the burden on its internal team.
The need for greater visibility into their environments, along with compliance with security standards such as the National Security Scheme (ENS), led the company to seek a cloud solution. They also wanted to simplify their cloud billing model and benefit from expert support in the design and monitoring of their new architecture.

Solution implemented

Apser's proposal was structured as a comprehensive support service throughout the migration cycle. Although the technical execution was led internally by Vócali, Apser provided strategic value by defining a clear roadmap and validating each technical decision, aligning it with AWS best practices.

The work was carried out in three phases: full test, mobilization y startDuring the analysis, critical workloads and points of attention were identified. During the mobilization, Apser helped design a robust and scalable architecture. Finally, during execution, Vócali migrated its environments with technical support from Apser to ensure stability and regulatory compliance.

One of the key axes was the incorporation of the framework Watchtower, developed by Apser, enabled the implementation of advanced security, governance, and compliance policies. Services such as AWS Organizations, Control Tower, CloudTrail, Config, Systems Manager, Amazon GuardDuty, and AWS Shield were activated, ensuring a solid and secure foundation for operating in the cloud.

The solution was complemented with 360 monitoring, advanced operational visibility and a service of premium technical support, with access in Spanish and English, 24×7 coverage for critical incidents, and SLAs defined by severity level. In addition, Vócali adopted the AWS reselling, facilitating billing in euros and simplifying the administrative management of the cloud environment.

Results

The collaborative work between Vócali and Apser resulted in a secure, governed, and future-proof cloud architecture. Thanks to expert guidance, the company was able to execute its migration with complete autonomy, yet with the support of a partner that guaranteed compliance with best practices, alignment with security standards, and resource optimization.

The new infrastructure allows Vócali to operate more efficiently, gain complete visibility into its systems, scale its operations seamlessly, and keep operating costs under control. Furthermore, ongoing support and advanced monitoring ensure stable, uninterrupted operations.

This case reinforces the value of having a partner like Apser not only to execute migrations, but also to strategically support organizations seeking to transform their technology with security, efficiency, and a forward-looking vision.
