CESLA, the Aragon Cluster of Free Software Entities, is born
Last Thursday, March 6, the business association was created CESLA (Cluster of Entities for Free Software of Aragon) promoted by companies apser Data Engineering, Cierzo Development, eBox Technologies, Iritec, Neodoo Microsystems, Ovvoe Telecom and Warp Networks, together with Vodafone Spain. The association was born with the desire to promote research and development of open content platforms and technologies based on the FOSS bycollaboration between companies, thereby improving business competitiveness. CESLA* aims to serve as a link and intermediary between the business sector and the Public Administration, as well as to collaborate with other associations with common interests through the exchange of experiences in the field of free software and open content. It also aims to promote companies that develop free software and open content and to disseminate the use of this type of technology in society.
*CESLA is part of ASOLIF (National Association of Federated Free Software Companies), an initiative promoted by CENATIC (National Reference Centre for the Application of ICTs based on free software and open sources). CESLA will soon join ASOLIF.
