Red.ES Digital Kit: Acceleration program for SMEs

The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, through Red.es, an entity dependent on the State Secretariat for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, has launched the Acelera program Small Business with the aim to promote the digitalisation of self-employed workers and national SMEsThis project is part of the SME Digitalisation Plan 2021 – 2025, which has a global budget of more than €4.000 billion.

Who is the Acelera Pyme Digital Kit for?

In a first phase, the call is made to the Self-employed workers and SMEs with up to 49 employees interested in boosting their digitalisation. SMEs that follow the marked application process will obtain a Digital voucher worth up to €12.000 to invest in digital solutions of different types that cover their main needs.

What types of solutions are eligible for funding from Acelera Pyme's Digital Kit?

Whether you are just beginning your digital transformation process or, on the contrary, you are already at a mature stage in which you are clear about how you can use technology to get the most out of your business, here are some of the improvement options for which you can use your grant:

  • Internet presence and websiteThe creation of a website and/or the provision of services to give it visibility on major Internet sites would fall within this category.
  • EcommerceHere we would find, for example, the creation of an online store for the purchase and sale of products and/or services that uses digital media for their exchange.
  • Management of social networks. Services for creating and promoting Social Media channels for promoting SMEs would be referred to in this category.
  • Customer and/or supplier management. This would include actions aimed at digitalising and optimising the management of commercial relations with customers.
  • Business intelligence and analyticsThis would include any company data exploitation service to improve the decision-making process.
  • Virtual office services and tools. The implementation of interactive and functional solutions that allow for more efficient collaboration between SME employees is one of the eligible points reflected in the program.
  • Process managementIn this category we would find services related to the digitalization and/or automation of business processes related to the operational or productive aspects of the SME.
  • Electronic billSMEs interested in digitizing the flow of invoice issuance between the company and its clients will have to opt for this option.
  • secure communicationsThere is also room for solutions to provide SMEs with security in the connections between their employees' devices and the company.
  • CybersecurityIn this last category we would find solutions and services that are aimed at providing SMEs with basic and advanced security for their employees' devices.

SMEs interested in applying for these funds can now apply through the website www.acelerapyme.es. From the web platform itself, they must register the company and complete the digital maturity self-diagnosis test. Once this is done, they must wait for confirmation of the award of their Digital Kit voucher by RedES and, with this, they will be able to select the solution to be developed and the digitalizing agent who will carry it out.

To consider:

  • The Digital Kit voucher will not cover the VAT amount of the share, which will be borne by the beneficiary.
  • The amount of the digitization service provided will be paid by RedEs to the Digitizing Agent directly.

From apser, we will be attentive to the evolution of Acelera Small Business to register as a digitalising agent and be able to provide you with services under the umbrella of this interesting subsidy programme aimed at promoting the digital transformation of Spanish SMEs.
